NURSERY CARE

  
Our Nursery is staffed by two workers and is open to children 4 years old and under during the 10:00 worship service each Sunday.
 
The Nursery has a changing station, rocking chairs, and age appropriate toys for infants and toddlers.  Peace of mind is what parents get when leaving their child in such good and capable hands. 

CHILDREN'S CHURCH

 
Sunday School classes for children are held every Sunday morning during the latter portion of our 10:00 worship service.
 
Children from 4 years old through 5th grade are dismissed just prior to the sermon.  Adult volunteer teachers staff our children's church and teach age appropriate curriculum. 
 
 
 
 

YOUTH

Our youth program exists to reach out to the youth (7th - 12th grades) of the greater Hot Springs Village/Fountain Lake/Jessieville area with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We encourage and support the spiritual growth and maturity of our youth as well as open wide doors for the youth within our community to learn about our awesome God!  Community service projects and mission opportunities are always a part of youth ministry.

The youth of Mountainside share in a relationship with the youth of our sister churches, Christ of the Hills UMC and Village UMC.  Weekly meetings are on Sundays at 5:30 p.m.  

A meal, Bible study, praise and worship, and fun fellowship and games are norm on Sunday nights.  Weekly Bible study is on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m.

KIDS FOR CHRIST…

All children Kindergarten through sixth grade are welcome to join in Kids for Christ all year long!  During the summer months, we have a variety of programs and activities from Vacation Bible School to field trips to fun days.  All children up through 6th grade are welcome.

During the school year, volunteers lead this wonderful ministry on Wednesday evenings during Worship on Wednesday. Whether you have children or grandchildren in your home, they are always welcome to join in the fun!
