The Origin of Mountainside Church

 

Mountainside is a great place to learn about the Gospel, to worship our God, to develop Christ-centered relationships, to study and grow as followers of Jesus Christ, and to impact our community and our world in a powerful and positive way. Come and join us. You will find a warm and welcoming group of people, many worship styles, lots of small groups, a great place for kids and youth. Overall, Mountainside is a great place to make your home.

Mountainside Church was launched on Easter Sunday, April 1999, as a contemporary Methodist Church with a desire to reach out to those in need of God’s love and grace. Our first four years were spent meeting in a local community center. Then, as ministries developed and lives were transformed, we were able to keep growing.

Mountainside Church Today

 

In the fall of 2002, God blessed our young faith-filled community with the completed construction of a new home at 301 El Cano Drive—where we remain today. We want to meet people where they are, so our environment encourages a “come as you are” welcome. Our services are designed to be contemporary, upbeat and relevant. We believe that there is a place for you at Mountainside.

Mountainside doesn’t just happen week-to-week. It’s built and accomplished by everyday people who desire to see “all people find new life in Christ”.
